Yesterday was my one, big shopping day of the year where I buy most of my presents for the upcoming Christmas and birthdays. Amidst all my shopping for others I did manage to squeeze in a couple of craft purchases for me including a bleach pen so I could try the bleaching technique that I've admired in others' cards (Karen Barber for one). I was hoping that the bleach would turn my Rose Red a purple color, but instead ended up with the vanilla look. I cut out the hydrangea and mounted it over another image stamped onto the artichoke paper. I made the bg by inking the negative side of my embossing folder with Perfect Plum ink then embossing. I've also seen a lot of ruffled seam binding lately so I thought I'd give that a try too! A little Vanilla hardware for dessert and I was done!

What a great combination of elements! Don't you love how bleaching is always a surprise! I do like the embossed background with some plum. The way you have colored really highlights the coloring of the flower.
