Yes, I know - I am absurdly late for last week's tea party! I wouldn't know where to start with the reasons so instead, I'll just say I still wanted to send a card to Marie. No story this late - you can go here to see last Tuesday's story: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...e-t520342.html
Our Destination Station was Marie in North Bellmore, NY. Marie is the sister of fellow teapotter/SCSer, Fran (PhilsMom). She is suffering from complications of progressive MS and was recently hospitalized. I knew she could still use a little extra cheer right now. You can read more about Marie here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...4-post175.html
Marie loves owls, hence the owl theme for my card.
This is already in the mail to Marie.
TFL!
Oh, and my sketch is Jen Del Muro's SFYTT for February: http://iheart2stamp.com/2011/02/05/f...or-you-to-try/

Oh the colors are just beautiful together. ANd I love the way you colored the image. THe brown really sets it all off. The touch of yellow in the background ... gee golly, you have every RIGHT to be late with this!

Gorgeous card - love the way the bg paper matches the branches your owl is sitting on. Your owl is wonderful. Marie will surely be thrilled with your card.
