I made this card using the Unity Hip Hop Sketch (HHSC45) using {ippity} stamps. It's also for the February 2011 {ippity} monthly challenge (IHHTC2) for The Week 4 Final Twist: ribbon.
The text background is actually a page ripped from a vintage history book. I finally got my first distress ink (Tim Holtz tea dye) and had a ton of fun ink distressing each layer of my card!
Thanks for looking!

This is really cool - love the layers, different elements, and the red stitching. This has such a neat feel to it. Wonderful job on this one!

Your first distress ink Emzi!!!! Wow, you will be hooked. I love my tea dye distress ink and had to buy the extra bottle with the stopper to reink my pad!!! Don't worry, I don't run around with inky fingers either....I do enough washing dishes that it comes off....lol This card is spectacular. I love the imagery and the background text. How fun is that...an old history book!!! Awesome card girlfriend.

P.S. I am so glad you liked my comment on the "Speedy the Cat" card. That was just one of those things that flowed right out of me in a matter of minutes...lol
