Gorgiana Whooington, top right is the US Chair-Owl. Almost hiding beside her, there in the back is Anita Whoopasta, the Italian chair. She is a little embarassed about President Berlusconi. Top left is Yvette Hootet from France. She is a distant relative of the Hooter family. ( see story by yungs at MMTPT133 We're owl in this together by yungs at Splitcoaststampers hooter You can tell that Mrs. Hooter gets her French style (notice the eye-make-up) from her French roots. To her left (our right) is my very own, Heidi Whootell, the Chair from Switzerland when she is not moonlighting as my homing owl. (Heidi is a descendant of Wilhelmina Tell who is actually famous as part of the Tell legend. It was her tail-feathers that adorned William Tell's arrow when he made the famous shot.# On Heidi's left is Kunigunde Hootenstein. Her family is famous for the Beer Stein that was made with a lid - to avoid things falling out of the sky and into the Beer. Ick! Finally, on the bottom row from left to right are Patricia O'Hooligan #not related to Harry#, Melanie Whoopopulis #There had to be a Chair-Owl from Greece, of course#, and Concita de Cervantes who they sent along because only a member of the Cervantes clan would travel so far. The commission insisted that the Chair-Owls have their plumage done to match the colors of their counties' flags so that is why there is such a variety# #A tongue in cheek journalist remarked that they look rather like hooting parrots - but we'll just ignore that, shall we#### In any case, the Whooville Chamber of Commerce is due to welcome them all shortly###I wonder if there will be a parade?
DISCLAIMER: I tried to pick colors that would work together# The only countries that I intended to be represented from the start were the USA and Switzerland, #having promised that my owl would have something to do with Switzerland in a post somewhere## All the other European countries were happenstance, as I tried t get a variety of colors# So hard to do# The European flags tend to be boring when it comes to color choices# I have not intentionally included or excluded any country beyond those already mentioned as such#

Oh my, I don't know where to start - your lovely bendy forest or that wonderful parliament of nationalistic owls. I'll pretend the Italian one is Irish . Love the German and Greek ones, any other countries I'd have had to guess without your guide. Lets hope that owls have an international lingua franca or you'll be needing some translators along for the ride too.
Got to love the Sideshow Stamps owls - the three I have were the very first owl stamps I decided to buy.
Wonderful card .
