For this weeks Teapot story, destination station and how to play along visit here: MMTPT133 ~ MCWHOO AND MCWHOOLISTER SITTING IN A TREE! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
On their flight home, McWhoo and McWhoolister met up with Roger Whoodaltry. Together they hatched a plan. Whooville would be the perfect site for a weekend of music, and Owlfest was born. The headliner of course was Whoodaltry's band, the Whooo. 42,000 times 42,000 owls attended and found the environs so hospitable that they stayed and became citizens of Whooville. McWhoo and McWhoolister took their rightful spot as Whooligan Harry looked on.
For the card: I stamped the three owls from Bird Assortment on a brown CS scrap in Memento Tuxedo Black. Punched the MS branch from Bazzill CS, mounted all and stamped the sentiment. Added the piercing and pearls. The sentiment IS intended for Marie. While most of my work is in critical care, I do work with people with neuromuscular conditions such as MS, ALS, Gullian-Barre Syndrome and spinal cord injuries. Some of them are the most amazing people that I have had the opportunity to meet. I would like to thank Marie for being an inspiration to those of us who take our mobility for granted. The note inside (along with a CB embossed owl!) reflects that.
Thanks for looking. Have a peaceful day and remember to thank God for those blessings that you have but don't always think about.

Marie, not only is this a wonderful card, your note and thoughts are really inspirational. I just finished writing a note to Marie along those same lines. A great message and reminder to us all.

Now THAT is being quite wise!!! Bringing the Whoo to Whooville to oust Whooligan out of the old oak tree! Whoot! Doesn't get any better than that....and think of how the economy will be spurred in Whooville.....What a wonderful reminder to us all, especially as we send our cards to those who are struggling so......its a great reminder to be thankful for all we have! Its beautifully done! Thanks for being a part of Tuesday! You rock!
Your card is wonderful...the branches are awesome and the owls are the epitome of owls in a tree! Tee hee! And don't think I didn't see that cornder treatment at the bottom there! Awesome!

Look at those cute baby owls! Darling. You are so right about remembering our blessings - especially those we take for granted like mobility.

Ok last week I couldn't get the Mary Poppins song "Let's Go fly a kite" out of my head, this week it's "Whoooo are you" only to be reinforced when I watch CSI tomorrow night. Thank you for a wonderful card and for the message to my sister, she will appreciate that you understand her in a way most people can't.

Whoodaltry's band, the Whooo... now that's funny! Love the Whooostock reference too... LOL! Your card is lovely, and your message to Marie is so very heartfelt. As for the rest of us, thanks for the gentle reminder to count our blessings... very sage advice indeed.
