The strangest thing has been happening at work - at least 10 people have lost one of their parents in the last month. This card is for a man in our technical support area who lost his mother last week - he told me that he had lost his best friend in the world. That makes me tear up every time I think about it because it is exactly how I feel about my Mom.
I am late to this Midnight Madness challenge but with Valentine's Day last night, I didn't have a chance to load it. It is a wonderful sketch that I will probably use again and again. That Priscilla is a genius!

Nancy I just love this card. It has a vintage feel to it and I just love the papers and the stamped images you chose to put on it. How unusal so many people have lost a parent in your work group. Personally, I think it is something you never get over. I still go outside and look up into the heaven's and talk with my Dad and it's been 14 years since he left us!!!

That is so sad that so many people have lost their loved ones. I do think your card is absolutely lovely though. I love vintage, but have a hard time creating it myself. You did a great job.

This is so pretty and I love how you stamped the trees on the song. Sorry about your friend's mother. I know he will so appreciate this thoughtful card.

Nancy, this is such an awesome card for this co-worker. It makes me very sad for him to read what he said. I am sure he is going to be so appreciative of this beautiful card.

Oh Nancy - this card is so beautiful, I can see that it was made with much love, and hope it will provide some comfort to your coworker during this difficult time. The trees from Lovely as a Tree are the perfect touch to that fab paper - and with the words and sentiment, they make this card so special.

Nancy, what a beautiful thing you have done for your friend. That is exactly how I felt. I know this will touch his heart to see your kindness. Lovely as a Tree...how can you go wrong? (Next to the MAN, it is my #1 fav SU set!) Looks wonderful stamped over the music. You have a beautiful heart my friend! LYMIMIMI

Nancy, I don't recall ever seeing a card as unique as this one. I'm rather speechless and it is sure to bring comfort in a time of need. This is a very "special card" indeed.
