This started out as a digi-scrap page. Then I printed it out as an 8x8” and turned it into a 12x12 hybrid page by adding paper and embellies. The colors and elements in the Heartlight digi-kit were so fun and eye-catching to me, I just had to play around with it and this is what I came up with. I have several elements from the Crazy Day digi kit by Chriscrap too (as well as several other bits and pieces from other kits listed below.)
My younger DGDÂ’s eyes were closed in this photo and itÂ’s the only one I had, so I gave her a pair of sunglasses from a little summer kit I found.
Although I used the theme from one of last weekendÂ’s VSBN (In the Groove) challenges, I confess it took me way longer than the 2-hour limit, so I didnÂ’t enter it in the VSBN category.

Great page, I love all of the embellishments you have added. I bet it looks even better IRL with all of the colors. I will have to remember the ideas of using sunglasses on pictures with eyes closed. Some of the best pictures have one person with their eyes closed. A really rockin page!
Wendy, how cretive with the sunglasses! I have some great pics of my DD and DS with their eyes closed, now I know what to do with them! Hehee! This is really a bright and "cool" page!
