Created for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge 75John 3:18: Make a card/project that uses no words on the front yet signifies love.
The piercing around the cross represents the piercing our Lord endured on behalf of His people (Isaiah 53:5)
~The linen thread: his garment for which the guards cast lots (as prophesied in the Old Testament); the cord of three strands and the three persons of the Godhead.
~The brads: the nails which pierced His hands and feet.
~The tearing: the tearing of the veil of the temple as Jesus completed His work on the cross bringing about reconciliation between those who would call upon His name, and our Holy God.
~The branches: the new life made possible by the power of the risen Christ through the work of His Spirit.

I have no other way to say it, but this is a very moving card. It makes me feel the meaning behind Easter. That sounds weird, but I hope you got where I was coming from! It's just so moving and wonderful.
