My boyfriend wanted me to make a card for his Mother's Birthday, but I had already made her one, so I told him he needed to make one. So todays challenge was perfect. The challenge: to use Birthday Items on a card! This card was "designed" by my boyfriend for his Mother's Birthday. He picked out the stamps, the colors and then laid out the design himself and then he watched, supervised (and kindly criticized) while I stamped it and put everything together. I think his creative vision turned out very nicely and I know that his mother will love it.
The plate of the cake stand was stamped first in VersaMark and then heat embossed with silver ep. Then using the stampamajig I lined the reset of the image up to stamp the cake. Once the flowers and presents had been watercolored with markers & my aqua painter, I added stickles to give everything a touch of sparkle.

What a fun collaboration! This is a wonderful one-layer card. He should certainly be proud of it, and his mom will love it. Kudos for you holding his hand through this process ;) .
