Fiskars heart template or heart cut out with craft knife
Three different patterned papers, cut into 2cm strips (2 strips per pattern) Scored 0.5cm in at one lomg side.
Vintage vogue stamp set, or floral stamp set
Heart Iris template
Ink to match your paper
Instructions:
Stick the Heart Iris Template to a stable surface.
Take the card and cut-out a heart shape on one half of the card.
Turn the card over so the inside is facing up. Blu-Tack the card over the heart pattern, making sure that the cut-out and the pattern line up nicely.
Starting with your strip a, and the part marked 1a on the pattern, cover the cut-out with the strip, making sure that the folded side is lines up with the straight line in the pattern. Cut the strip make sure you use enough of the strip to cover the heart and a little bit over the edge so that you can tape it down. Next move to your strip b and stick over 1b, then your strip c and stick over 1c. Continue in this fashion until you are done.
Then stick the 15x10.5cm piece of card over the heart to cover the mess and sticky tape.
Carefully remove the card front from being Blu Tacked to the pattern, and flip it over .
Use the Vintage vogue stamps to stamp around the heart as much or as little as you like.
Then create your insert and you are done!
