 | | This is my card for today's Color Challenge - Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight. The dessert is to use grosgrain ribbon. It is also for today's Teapot Tuesday Challenge: This week, we are headed to Kearney, Nebraska to help Orland and Wilbur Kite, who were headed for air traffic control school, but got ripped off by Brooke, the Crook. Now they are in Nebraska with nuttin' but blue sky! We are going to bring them 42,000 things that fly to cheer them up and give them a little adventure. I am bringing hot air balloons.
In real life, our cards are for Sean, the 23-year-old son of a co-worker of fellow SCSer, Judy (StampingQueenJar). Sean is battling testicular cancer and is dealing with a lot of tough medical issues right now. He likes video games and things that fly, so hopefully our flying cards will lift his spirits and bring him some encouragement. You can find out more about Sean here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...5-post172.html
One final note, I used this week's sketch from the Card Positioning Systems blog (CPS#204) for my layout: http://cardpositioningsystems.blogsp...04-part-1.html
