 | | Here is the card my DD and I made for the inspiration challenge. It was inspired by these stuffed bird dolls (http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/bird-stuf-dolls) and a number of owl pictures; this one is my favourite: http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/blue-owl-necklace
My DD and I spent some time together browsing the site on Saturday afternoon. We made the card together. My idea was to have three owls in a row and DD wanted to put them on a diagonal. After stamping the owls, she drew in the tree and branch. I helped her draw in the outline with Close to Cocoa marker. We took turns colouring the image with Crayola pencil crayons and smoothed out the colours with odorless mineral spirits. We had a fun mother/daughter day. |
