I should warn you that you might get sick of me using this set from Crafty Secrets called Couple of Cuties, it's so fun! This is for the almost monochromatic Free for All challenge and to honor our new Queen for the Day, Susan (One4Joy), who is always so encouraging with her comments for us all! It's with great pleasure that I went through her absolutely fabulous gallery full of interesting and unique work to be inspired by this card: blossoming...O4J by One4Joy at Splitcoaststampers
Susan's card was already monochromatic and I kept an oval image at the top of the card, but framed it with Nesties Labels Four. I cut the sentiment with Nesties Fancy Tags. And Wendy, I had to slap my hand to keep from reaching for the Ranger Distress ink to sponge this oval as I was determined to stick with your "one ink" rule and black it was!! (I confess to you now that I will probably go and grab the Antique Linen ink as soon as I upload!!) I sponged the edges of the dp label with it. I added two tiny black brads to finish the sentiment and went around the inside of the oval Nestie with a black fine liner pen for a frame.
