It was a fun challenge Wendy set today. I gave a bit of time to think about it, and decided that Asian usually looks good in monochrome. But man, that one colour of ink only was a real sticker! Nothing else for sponging edges - help!
A2 card, green Bazzill, black paper, cream card.
StazOn Timber Brown.
Background layer is RubberNecker's bamboo background. The stamp from Asian Artistry was stamped onto a Sizzix tag. All the cream card edges were distressed. I added some Mizuhiki cord through the tag, and a little Chinese character from a Kodomo set.
I want to add gold, and green shimmer, but this is it for the challenge.

You're right, the monochromatic really suits the Asian look - this is really lovely and serene in color and theme - it sure is a challenge to keep it monochromatic, I kept wanting to reach for ink pads and was mentally slapping my hand!

Very sharp! I like the monochromatic look of your card. Great background and the "tag" with your main image is perfect. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
