It has been forever since I've uploaded anything! The Army sent us to Kansas a little over a year ago and it has been insanely busy. I just really got back into stamping when I worked on my Christmas cards back in November/December.
I'm working on Valentine's cards right now and here is one of them!
I used last weeks sketch challenge, SC317. It was a fun layout to work with and I altered it a tiny bit. I used my ribbon/bow to take the place of one panel and I omitted a panel that should have been under the heart.
For the heart, I stamped it on the panel and then stamped it on a seperate piece of very vanilla cs. I cut out the second heart and adhered it to the panel with dimensionals. I used my markers to color the sentiment portion and stamped it on a seperate scrap of cs. I cut this out and adhered it over the heart(s) with dimensionals. This is a very simple paper tole.
I had tied the bow and felt like it needed a little something extra, so I added the button. I love how the bits of red really pop against the black and vanilla. And I am absolutely in love with the red glimmer paper from SU! I think I'll be using it in some way on all of my Valentine's!
Thanks for looking and have a fantastic day!
