42,000 cherries is what Bertie and I are bringing to the tea party today!!! You know what else comes with cherries, Mudder? Yup. Cherry pits. Bertie challenges you, da Mudder, to a cherry pit spittin' contest and anyone else who wants to play! We can pile them all up and use 'em fer flingin' later. Woo-hoo! Come one, come all. We're meetin' up by the back door under the cherry tree.
Yessirreee, I have 42,000 cherries on this card made for Shari. Shari is undergoing treatment for breast cancer and could use some cheering up. You can get the full story here:
I colored my cherries with Copic markers, cut them out, and lacquered them. There are even cherries onwhat looks to be solid black cardstock. They are black embossed on the Rockabilly dp, but they're hard to see in the photo.

Charlene, how in the world can you get such a goofy, funny story while looking at this gorgeous card? Your design is wonderful, and loaded with delish color, and the shine on those cherries is "ai yi yi". Love your work, you lil Cherry Picker! Snugs....

Gorgeous card Charlene, and kudos to you for keeping Bertie from getting cherry juice stains all over it! Love the glaze on your cherries and that luscious DP! Da Broomster is up for Bertie's pit spittin' challenge... meet you by the cherry tree stump.

This is like the third version of the card in my head! REALLY!
I LOVE IT! Thought about my DSP, didn't get it out. Thought about a cherry stamp I have, didn't get it out. Just sat down at my desk last night and something different emerged on my card. Again, I find myself saying, I like YOURS better!
Oh and welcome to my late night stamping world! FUN, huh?
