Today I have a very frilly feminine Valentine to show you. I started out wanting to make the rolled roses on the tooth pick made by punching a scalloped circle, cutting a circle in it, and wrapping around a toothpick?? Well, it didn't work out for me.
So I bet you think these are "Prima" roses....NOT!!! lol I made these roses. Guess I don't have to buy "Prima" any more and I can have roses in any color I chose to match my cards! I will have a video soon on how to make these...easy peasy. I was ready to go this weekend with my video-but my camera man was pulling an engine and well he was to busy!!! lol
This image is from Fred She Said. I have layered it three times on the heart and fleur de lis nesties. That's a Martha Stewart punch around the page border. I distressed all my edges with tea dye distress ink. The leaves are a sizzx die and of course, that is the Martha Stewart Branch punch.
I have to say as much as I use my punches, the aluminum foil and wax paper really does work to keep them in tip top shape!!!
Punchkateers-I can't tell you how many punches exactly for this card-there is 5 punches per flower at least....so if we had a contest-I think I would be hands down the winner this week!!!! lol I have been making these flowers during my lunch time....sort of balance out the calorie intake. hahahah
Thanks for looking!!!
Edit: A quick count of punches and I got over 100!!!!

I am speechless.... WOW!
The detail you have put on these cards are mind blowing.
I don't think I have ever seen such gorgeous Valentine cards before.
I'm going to favor these, not because I think I can recreate them...but so I can stare at them again and again.
TSMFSWU your beautiful creations!!!!
Happy Valentines day!!!!

Oh- I can't wait for the video - i would have sent my DH to help pull the engine if he wasn't busy with the last two days of hunting season. These look great! I am so impressed. All those punchez - you would win for sure but then, I think you win every week pretty much. Gorgeous cards - love, love, love them. Keep up the punchexercising - I am convinced it will pay off one day.

Gorgeous use of the MS heart border punch and flowers. Gorgeous use of the Nestie as the backing and I love how you made it into an easel card. Beautifully done!!

One hundred punches??? Wow! You should be thin as a rail. This is absolutely gorgeous. Valentines just don't come any prettier than this. Carol, I think you should go reward yourself with some chocolates...several.

Hi my Bearzi good friend! You are claiming 100 punchez. I can't believe our resident detective Debzi, Agent 9999, didn't pick up on that and run it through her "Is Bearzi Lyin' About Her Punch Count software program" Maybe she's doing it in secret with the large button she placed on her last card. If you receive that card, throw it away immediately or she'll be copying your beautiful art - like she could!! LOL!!
Carol, I am speechless once again. The beauty and details of your cards are just amazing. And, with that punch count, girl you can eat all you want for Valentine's Day if your DH can still find you being so thin!
Can you link your tutorial to the Punchkateer Chat Line so I can try out making those gorgeous flowers. I've tried several times and just can't get it to look right. So, when you link the flower tutorial maybe you could also link us with your promised DVD 'Punching To The Oldies'. I need it right away. My drs. are telling me I need cardiovascular, so bring it on baby. I can't use 100 punches right now to lose the weight, so I'll wait for the video. Don't let it be on your conscience if I die of cardiac arrest waiting for it!! LOL!

Can't wait to see that video tutorial on making those flowers, Carol! And how genius to make them on your lunch break--you get a punching workout while you eat!! Did your cameraman finish pulling his engine OK? Hope so he can get back to work on YOUR project!!!
