Well as this is my 6th ever scrapbook page I'm pretty pleased. I got done in 1hr 30mins, 45 of which were hand cutting the flower & leaf pattern out! Ouch! I didn't want that part to lie flat so I've done a combination of flat glueing and 3D dots to give it a bit of "ooomph"!
As I am just getting started scrapbooking (scrapping??) I have a lot of random papers & embellishments I picked up cheaply on eBay. Of course, that makes it much harder when trying to pull them together, but I have learned my lesson now!
Really enjoyed this challenge and I have been meaning to scrap this motley crew for ages. Only problem was, I couldn't find a printed photo of my nephew Ben so I've left a bit of space to add him later! I also found the different lighting on the photos a challenge which was why I chose orange/rust as my main colour - it seemed to pull the pics together quite nicely.
I have also cunningly left a bit (!) of room for possible future cousins!

Boy...I most certainly wouldn't have thought it was only #6 for you! It's awesome! I love the colors and all the papers work nicely together. Great job on the cutting too! My hat off to you on that! I love the ribbon you used. Great job on this page! Hope you get to play next week as well!

Love those bright colors! If this only your 6th page, you're a natural!

Well, Miss Lurker, you have apparently used your lurking time to great advantage, because you seem to have perfectly mastered the art of a well balanced page. Wow! This is a great page. Looking forward to seeing more of yours in the future.

I never would have guessed thatflower border was hand cut. Great job cutting. While you say you left room for more (!) I love the composition of this page, you should make a blank page with your supplies, while you still have some that go together for the left 0r right side of the layout, then you can put Ben and future cousins as needed.
great job for a beginner, I can't wait to see your pages as you develop more talent !!

Great idea SuG, thanks for that. I am not sure I am up to all that cutting again just yet but I will put all the stuff to one side! Thanks for all the lovely feedback!

Wow! I can't believe this is your 6th page, you're a natural! I LOVE the handcut border and you should be so proud of yourself because that is sooooo hard to do so well (mine would have been butchered!) I like Su's idea but if you don't want to cut you can just create a second page with the product without it being exactly like this. Your page is GORGEOUS and I LOVE the color combo!

WOW! I too am in awe that this is only your 6th page?! It's so well put together with color and layout! GREAT job. The hand cut flower and leaf is beautiful and I really like the glitter letters for the title.
