two main colors are blue and green. the 2 pieces of designer paper are black and white and is the same I used for the invitations. I added a little pink because the whole book is for both birthday girls and I needed to include the color of Danielle's dress. I used a piece of dp to create a block for the journaling, I really wanted to have strips. I used 3 butterflies. The butterflies are straight off the invitations for my daughter's sweet 16 party. The guests all dressed in black and white, the birthday girls came out in bright colored dresses. My dd in the blue and green, the other party girl in a hot pink dress - not shown on this page.
I used the great glitter paper that is out there right now.
I embossed the butterflies with SU's Elegant lines embossing folder.
I am not sure why the white I used as background for the photo turned pink, but that is not part of the page.

So cute! Love that idea to let the birthday girls stand out!

Okay, my DD1 will be 16 in September and I've been debating a party and this makes me want to do it...love the colors and the idea of the b/w outfits & color dresses for the party and how you incorporated that all into this page! Very cool!
