Also for the Free for All Challenge since I used a warm yellow and a felty butterfly! Kept Heather's general colors, butterfly, and sketch...just changed my image to a quilty one at the bottom!
I stamped the quilt squares on PTI's Guide Lines Grid #1 paper, and the colored them with a yellow marker, and green inks (and a waterbrush). Then I sent the whole piece through my cuttlebug and used PTI's Linen side of the Linen/Canvas Impression plate. Distressed the whole thing with Antique Linen ink. For the butterfly, I die cut 2 from PTI felt, and then hand stitched it on to the paper with Martha Stewart green baker's twine. I added the heart last. I put Glossy Accents on the back to "glue" it, and thought...may as well add some to the "red" side, too!
Heather has the most elegant cards in her gallery, and she can work an embossing folder like nobody's business! Be back later !

Love how you created this little "quilt" - quite a job from your description, and then used the CB to your advantage!! Super Card and one I am sure will be a favorite in Heather's eyes!!

Wow!!! I love this! I honestly thought that was designer paper along the bottom until I read your description!! Fantastic job! Your butterfly and heart are the perfect finishing touches! Thank you so much for your sweet words - blushing here! It was awesome of you to take time to peek at my gallery and CASE a card. I totally appreciate it. What a fun week this is. Sorry it took so long to get here - I was away and I'm just catching up.
