I am a bit behind, so I am combining two challenges with this card. First, congratulations, Queen Heather! You post some really lovely work and leave the kindest comments so I want to celebrate your reign with the legions of your fans! I chose to CASE this card: F4A31 - Cuter by the Dozen by Isaiah40:31 at Splitcoaststampers
I am using the CC307 colors of elegant eggplant, soft suede and riding hood red.
I CASEd the layout but flipped it and changed the proportions a bit. I stamped the roses image from Flourishes Beauty Within in Memento Tuxedo Black on vellum. Colored the image with Copics (R27,29,46 & 59, V15 Y28 and E25). Stamped the image twice more on Riding Hood Red, cut frames with my Xacto and sandwiched the vellum image (note to self, buy the nestie). Cut a frame from Soft Suede with a nestie and applied to the image panel. Punched the mat panel with a MS border, (sort of scalloped like Heather's) cut into a frame with the rectangle then stamped BG in Versamark and clear embossed (like Heather). Cut another rectangle from the Flourishes cream card and mounted the panels. I does look like translucent stained glass IRL - this would be the perfect image for a luminary. Applied the pearls and made and added the flower that I cased from the beautiful and talented Emily Keaton: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers .
Thank you so much for looking. I would love to see someone who really knew how to color with Copics to re-do this image and PM me with the card...I'd love to see this done properly! Have a peaceful day.
