 | | Michelle (tygerpaws11) challenged us to make a card using no more than two layers of CS. That's it! She's crazy! We also had to incorporate tan and an inspirational/encouraging sentiment. I dug out some old Confetti Tan CS (remember that?) and chose this sentiment: "Pearls lie not on the seashore. If thou desirest one, thou must dive for it!" I chose this sentiment as encouragement to myself to complete this challenge...I mean, only two layers of CS? I was getting back to basics here and it certainly was challenging.
I created a shell collage and made the sentiment the main focus. The ribbon was knotted at intervals and liquid pearls were used for added texture. Hidden in the lower right corner is a big pearl. I dove for it with this challenge! |
