I was so glad to see that Peggy had chosen Pam (Pam124) as Queen. Although she probably doesn't know it, Pam has a special place in my SCS heart. As a newbie she offered many sweet and (likely undeserved!) positive comments. I love Pam's interesting yet uncluttered style, so finding a card to CASE was a cinch. I chose this one: Season's Greetings by pam124 at Splitcoaststampers
I kept her layout but changed the proportions a bit. I stamped the flower part of Penny Black Morning Glory in Marina Mist on PTI kraft, then free handed the viney stems in Copics. Highlighted parts of the flowers with Stargazer Twinkling H2O paint. Sponged the panel then layered and matted, mimicking her scalloped border with SU scalloped border punch in Kiwi Kiss. Pierced in the same pattern as Pam did on her card. Stamped the Verve sentiment and punched a couple of layers for that in honor of the punchy Queen. Added pearls.
Thanks so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

Ooh, I love that morning glory. You freehanded the stems...if only I could do that. What a wonderful card to honor Queen Pamzi!

I have always thought that the morning glory was one of the prettiest around. We used to have a field behind our house when I was little... I love to get up in the morning and go out and see the many morning glories that grew there, they were of all shades and colors... You have brought that wonderful memory back to me with this wonderful card.. Thanks so much..

Wonderful case of Pam, and such a sweet story of how you connected with her - a memory to cherish! The card is a real beauty and I am sure she will enjoy seeing it here in her honor!
