This is my first QFD challenge card. I'm assuming the rules are the same as featured stamper rules, where you honor the QFD by casing a card and changing it up a bit.
After making 2 girly cards today, I saw that card and thought, wow! Great masculine card! I loved the monocromatic theme. I hope I did it justice.
I changed it up by changed cs colors.
I used: Early espresso as base, followed by, basic grey, then sahara sand, then SU dsp.
I added a piece of Kraft just above center and topped it with a cool piece of ribbon I had that had some green pattern in it.
I also changed the corners to have a ticket punch.
I changed the image to the bird from Asian Artistry. I used always artichoke and choc chip for the colors. I mounted it on espresso.
The dragonflies are stamped in always artichoke and colored with glitter gel pen. I used a punch for the image and punched the mat which is early espresso, but the mat was too big so I had to cut it down with my scissors.
I hope I did the QFD justice with this card. TFL and have a great day!

I just LOVE the changes you made to my card Dara. The color combo is awesome and your special touches of punches, dragonflies and ribbon are spectacular. I happen to love the Asian Artistry image you used, so that's an added plus. I'm so glad you decided to play da queen challenges. There are so many fun stampers who play along and maybe, just maybe, one day you will be crowned QUEEN!!! Although, I have mentioned that I won't be sending my royal crown out to the next queen, so who knows what will happen. Guess they'll have to spend the big bucks for a new crown!! LOL!! TFS!
