Alrighty then, I've finally tried my hand at the black magic technique. Not certain it's done correctly, but this is the best it gets for today anyway.

Riot of Petals, prisma pencils, white gel pen and light olive asian linen paper brings it all together.

Anne, it's beautiful!! It looks magical to me.
And goodness, I don't think anyone would ever accuse you of being insensitive. Christmas is busy for everyone, with the added bonus that hopefully people make more allowances - and it never crossed my mind that you hadn't acknowledged my card. I was thinking of you when I made my flower pot today :D.

This is fabulous. I have yet to try this technique~I'd say you got the hang of it! Great framing and base color. Awesome image for this too! TFS. : )
Oh, and Anne, I wasn't away gloating about all my wonderful gifts, I was trying to get out from UNDER THEM ALL! I must have been a very good girl last year~the piles and piles and piles of them.... LOL! Oops, now I'm gloating, aren't I? There's certainly a pile of 'something' going on here I think! LOL! Keep up the fun! : )

Now this is black magic at its finest Anne. Girl, it's beautiful and love the black against the green. I haven't tried that technique yet. Everyone is trying techniques right now and I'm still doing my same ole thing. Must get outside of the box! I LOVE THIS ONE! TFS!
