Brrr, it's bitterly cold here but at least we don't have snow. I used yesterday's sketch to make the last card I needed for my January CCC quota.
A2 base is green Bazzill, edges sponged with Vintage Photo. The Whispers stamp was stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks. I added Liquid Pearls to the snow and Enamel Accents to his buttons.
The sentiment is from MFT, cut with Spellbinder's Double-Ended Ribbon Tags, edges sponged with Peeled Paint.
I embossed some white card with the Provocraft Snowflakes folder and cut the two background panels for the sketch, and edged with Vintage Photo. After I attached the image layer to the bottom panel I used bakers twine and attached the sentiment before sticking it all to the base. I added a few little metal snowflakes from Gutermann.
I really liked Silke's card with the way she had the sentiment both on the image panel and the extra sentiment one, but I couldn't think of anything I had that would work so well.

Your snowman looks super in this sketch and I love the snowy textures you used on the panels of white. I so often forget how some twine dresses up a card and makes it so much more "man-friendly" than the ribbon I too often reach for. hee hee. Great card! tfs
BTW, in southern Manitoba we have lots of snow, it's -24 Celsius today and tomorrow we are supposed to get windchill to -38 Celsius. Apparently -40 Celsius and "40 below zero" on the Fahrenheit scale are equivalent for cold.

Your card is sweet! Great job on the sketch. I love snowmen - but I am rather tired of the snow. We have more snow this winter than I can remember having for years!!! We're up to an 'almost' balmy -12C today so I won't complain too loudly. We've just come through a rather long cold spell where we didn't break -20C even as a high for the day. It's all what a person gets accustomed too... Keep warm!

Sabrina this is absolutely lovely. I love the texture and the stamp is so cute. Isn't it nice that you can stay inside in the warm and make lovely cards like this one. We got a skiff of snow in Vancouver today but thank goodness for rain. It shovels the stuff away!
