I saw the original in the latest workshop templates on the SU! demo site...I changed the colors to make it more Christmassy. Only attach the top of the bag to the back of the envelope...that way your recipient can open it without tearing it apart; the ribbon will hold it all together. To make a bagalope, seal an envelope shutn, then gently score an envelope equally on two of the long sides and one short side. For this one I scored 7/8" from each long side, 7/8" from one short side, then cut off 7/8" from the other short side. Bend the score lines back and forth to soften up the folds, then put your hand inside the envelope. Pinch the triangles that are forming at the bottom while pushing out on the score lines. I like to stick the triangles to the sides of the bags rather than the bottom. I use Sticky Strip for that part...otherwise, they pop back down.

Jan - I LOVE it! I have to somehow wrap presents (which are coming today) for my 35 piano students by Monday. I wonder if this is do-able? I still have to finish my Christmas cards! I was thinking of just using a #10 business envie, sealing it, wheeling on it, cutting off the top and putting the gifts in there and maybe threading ribbon through some punched holes. Hmmm.....
