Sympathy Silhouette

Photo Details
Poster: Ophthalmologist

Another card for today's TLC - Silhouettes. My neighbour's Mom passed away on Sunday - the call telling the sad news just came when we were sitting together talking and having a glass of wine. This is the sympathy card I created for her. In Germany, you are to use only shades of grey, blue and black for sympathy cards - a bit different from what you have in the U.S. So I used a Hero Arts background stamp colored with different shades of Fluid Chalks and then stamped the flower silhouette over the background (masking part of the image). The sentiment says "With Sympathy". I added some black fibers and embossed a frame onto the card with my ScorPal.

Your card is really pretty Christiane!! I like those grays and blues that you used. That is an interesting custom you have in regards to sympathy cards there. I actually like these colors - I wonder if when you see them if you think about a sympathy card.
