No matter whether you call them Mariposa, Papillons or butterflies, I love them all!! My daughter saw me working on my card and asked ...
"What is today's challenge?" When I told her, she said "Mom, I thought this was supposed to be a challenge. You always use butterflies..." It actually was a challenge, because it took me so long to figure which butterfly to use. I finally decided to use my LAYERS OF COLOR butterfly. I stamped it with versamark and heat embossed with gold ep. I used a small piece of dp from the DCWV- The Mariposa Stack. I had to get this paper because it has such beautiful butterflies. Using my computer, I printed a poem called Butterfly Flutterby by Bella Ravenstar. I printed it onto cardstock. I then W.I.S.H-ed it and cut it out. I layered it all with a piece of lace added in and used my sewing machine to finish it off. This is also for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge to make a card with WINGS...
