Here is my card for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Yay, I finally made it on time to the party!
The teapot reminded me of this Tea Rose Background from Flourishes, so I used that and embossed in gold. I colored the leaves with Soft Suede, which I discovered a while back actually is a flat gold color. Then to give it shine I added some Champagne Mist shimmer paint. It's actually much shinier in real life, I always have a hard time getting the shine to show in a photo. This card is actually a 5x7", that is one really nice thing about this background that you can make it as large as you want.
This card is also for the current Flourishes Release Week Challenge, which is to use Red, Pink & White on a card.
This week's Destination Station for the Teapot cards is Katie Renz, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. I already sent her a card when I first heard about it, but I am more than happy to send another. If you would like to send her a card you can get more info here Forums at Splitcoaststampers

OMG! Trina! You are so absolutely right! This is about the perfect stamp possible for that teapot! Its just perfect and makes a wonderful 5 X 7 card. It is so soft and so feminine....a beautiful addition to Katie's gallery. Thanks for much for jumping on board and making another card for Katie. She will be so touched by both of your cards.
Has anyone ever told you that you can make a mean bow? Giggle! It rocks girlfriend! Awesome card!

GORGEOUS card! This is the perfect stamp for this week's teapot. That soft suede reallly does look like a dark gold and your beautiful pink satin bow makes it so sweet and femine along with the petite roses.
