this is my card for this week's color challenge. thank you joanne for hostessing this week and choosing colors to challenge our creativity.
after all this is what a challenge is all about.
I wasn't able to put my sample up last night because we just returned from san francisco and visiting our new granddaughter.
the white layer is using the cuttlebug ef "kassie's brocade".
my dsp is from su-melon mambo & pretty in pink. to get the cherry cobbler requirement on my card, I stamped the sentiment in that color.
the ribbon is a combo of melon mambo and pretty in pink.
I added some white pearls and that completed my card.

Hi Mary - it has been a LONG TIME!! Thanks for your comments on my last card. I came to visit you too as I haven't seen what you have going on either. I LOVE how you used the sketch to make this beautiful card. If you take a 2nd glance, the colored panel almost looks like a book with a bookmark going down the center. I like the way you chose to use the color combo and who can't love pearls and a beautiful ribbon treatment???? I glanced through your gallery and saw you made some fantastic holiday cards. Wish I would have visited to be inspired by them as I make a lot of holiday cards. Hope all is well and that you have a great New Year! TFS!
