This card was created for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge. I am so honored to be guest DT for Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) for Jan/Feb, and was thrilled to use ODBD's older set, “For the Graduate”. I have long admired ODBD stamps and was tickled to pieces to use them for the first time! The quality is remarkable! Deeply etched and the foam cushion is a dream.
I chalked the image from “for the Graduate” for my gift frame, and added blooms and punched butterflies.
This week's Challenge:
A new year has begun and an old year has ended....use something new and something old from your stash.

Ah, the beginning of a new journey personified in your elegant framed piece - all the elements that we are familiar with in your gallery, coupled with the excitement of new stamps that are filled with promise and knowing you, lots of adventure!
This challenge has truly bought out a whole new dimension for you. I love how you have taken this frame over the top with your signature flair with flowers, stitching and embellishments to show this beautiful image at its best. I look forward to seeing more of your creations here at ODBD.
Congratulations on your new grandson, Jon, a most precious gift of God to your family. God bless you all! Big hugs!

Beautiful image in a beautiful frame. Congrats on being on the DT for ODBD. Lucky them! I agree, their stamps ARE amazing. I don't have many, but love the few I do have. Beautiful colors in your image, and I love all the flowers and butterflies. TFS. : )
ps. If I have been 'hearing' correctly within SCS, you are proud new grandparents? A boy? Congrats to every one of you who will love that darling, lucky child! Very exciting. : )
