Made for the Teapot challenge - make a card for little baby Jon, Pat Smethers' little grandson who is about to make his grand debut any day now :) This weeks sketch challenge and two ways to use it, Twine and Make it Pop challenges.
I am so inspired by these little Popcorn Bears and being that I don't have Winnie the Pooh anything, I thought he would substitute quite nicely.
So here's to you Mother Mark and your Teapot challenge, Pat Smethers and your little grand baby boy soon to appear, a little bear that will welcome him here!
About my card, Popcorn was stamped on Naturals White Card stock, then watercolored and paper pieced using Sahara Sand and Creamy Caramel, and some retired DSP from my stash. Souffle was colored using Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal and So Saffron. The blacnket they're on is outlined in Old Olive and then colored in using my Mellow Moss SW Marker (which needs to be replaced :(. Then I popped them up on a white panel stamped using the "welcome baby" sentiment from Bundled in Love and then again using the Nursery letters wheel. Added some color to all my edges using coordinating ink pads and some stitching. Added "Welcome Baby" sentiment to the Mellow Moss layer and twine and a clear button to bring a little more brown to my card. Hope you like it!
Thanks for looking!
Happy Stampin! God Bless!
