Winnie the Pooh's coming to the teaparty to celebrate the birth of baby Jon with three extra guests here! I have it from reliable sources that butterflies are extremely well behaved and don't eat much, in fact, they may even be sort of boring to talk to if you get trapped in a corner with one over a cup of tea - very pretty to look at though!
I got Winnie from a free coloring page website, but I wouldn't recommend it as the quality of the print wasn't great and I had to go over him with a black marker! Colored him with copics and popped him up over strips of dp sponged with ink and cut with scallops. The original image had a butterfly on Winnie the Pooh's nose which made me think of this sentiment which I've seen somewhere before, and it's computer generated. I embossed the cream card base with swiss dots and added some little punched butterflies with tiny buttons.

Bridget, how sweet and cute is your Pooh Bear - it's almost as though he is conversing with one of the dainty butterflies! I love your DP colors and beautiful embossing background. Adorable card.

- that's why I went with a bear stamp. Plus I don't have Copics, but your Pooh Bear certainly looks great. Those colours are so vibrant and happy and cheerful - perfect for welcoming a baby.
We're still having our water cut off regularly, but at least it's scheduled so one can plan. None from Sunday evening till yesterday noon. None from tomorrow evening till the morning after. Where's all the rain when we need it! Sounds as if you are blessed being on the same supply as the hospital.

Such a sweet card! Pooh is looking so happy to have the butterfly land on his nose! A wonderful job of coloring Pooh, and a great layout! I love the little polka dotted butterflies!
