.This is for the sketch challenge this week over at Stamp TV. I decided to try the bleaching technique on this one, have only done it one other time. So I chose a medium dark brown, used MS punch around the page punches then stamped image from Purrr-fectly Delightful with versamark and embossed with detail black ep, I filled one of my water pens with bleach, and painted the kitten, was hoping it would turn lighter. Next I chose a piece of dp from a DCWV The Fall Glitter Matstack, then chose my layer and card base color. Since the dp has some bling to it, I used a clear glitter pen in each of the small holes, if you look very closely at the top you can see a little, the picture didn't really catch the shimmer, also added some to the kitties eyes. This is also another attempt at a gatefold, which I must really need practice at, it seems they never turn out exactly right. I cut the dp to fit the two sides, then decided to add a little twist to it, I believe Gina did it in a video. The image layers are attached to the left gate, the sentiment is attached to the right gate. Instead of using plain brads for my three by the image, I used button brads, and took a white gel pen and connected the dots, so it looks like they are stitched on. I embossed the sentiiment onto the yellow with versamark and detail black ep, then cut out with a fancy tag die, then cut a brown piece for a backer for it, attached with two black mini brads, the right mini brad, even goes through the dp to help hold it better. I also used a corner rounder punch on the yellow layer behind the image and the brown layer behind the sentiment. Thanks for looking and any comments.
