1 c. cinnamon
1 T. cloves
1 T. nutmeg
¾ c. applesauce
2 T. white glue
Blend together cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg; stir in applesauce and glue. Knead dough until smooth, about 2 minutes. Divide dough into 4 portions and roll out each to ¼-inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. If you’d like to hang them, insert a hole in the top with a straw. Place ornaments on racks, brown paper sacks or wax paper to dry for several days. Turn daily so ornaments will dry evenly. Thread with ribbon for hanging.
I stamped the letters/designs on the ornaments right after we cut them out with craft ink (black).
