This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge. Congratulations Marisa. Your gallery is awesome and I've enjoyed looking through it today. I am in the process of putting together a box of cards for my therapist. She love angel/fairy cards and so while I chose to CASE this card:
I used an angel image instead of a butterfly. But they do both have wings. I would have liked to stay with the lovely purple tones that Marissa used, but I didn't have any paper that seemed right for this image in those colors. And other than angels, I don't really have a unifying theme for these cards, except for a blue card base. I will post the other angel cards later, when they are complete.
I chose this color scheme based on the colors in the background paper. The copper embossing was used because there are some thin lines of script that look copper in the paper, though I think my ribbon covers them! I used some green in her dress because in another corner of the background paper there is a green flourish and I loved the contrast with the blues.
I changed the colors, the shape of the main image and I used a decorative corner instead of brads.
