This is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge. It was inspired by this piece http://www.neest.fr/product.php?id_product=92
I have been wanting to play around with sponging blocks of color and putting an image in the foreground. I did it by masking the entire sheet of white cardstock execpt the block where I wanted to apply color, and then using a sponge to apply the ink.
I almost didn't upload it, because there are a lot of things that I could do better. But I am glad I tried it and I would do it again. It was a good learning experience.

I am so impressed with your first try at this technique. So glad you decided to upload your card. The tulip is highlighted so nicely. Looking forward to seeing more of this technique from you.

I'm so glad you did share it ... your color choice is fabulous and I love the visual interest of the masked sections ... fantastic inspired design (I just love when the IC encourages people to try new-to-them techniques ... always fun to learn together).
