Aren't these bears just the cutest?!?! I love these Popcorn Bear images...I just got them...and you know what that's like, you wanna play right away...well Popcorn Bear's come unmounted - just a sheet of rubber, and wouldn't you know it...stores around here don't carry EZ Mount! OMG, what a catastrophe right? Well, being as resourceful as I am, I called around to every craft store in my area, only to find that the only place that had EZ Mount was Impress, in Tukwilla...about a 30 mile drive...but I love these little bears so much, that I made the trip just so I could use these adorable little guys! And that's the story behind my Popcorn Bears
My Card: Made for the free for all challenge, one of my resolutions, use the stuff I've been hoarding! You know we all hoard, so my resolution is to use my stuff and also to make 10 cards per week (this not only keeps me stamping, but means that it won't take as long to restore my depleted stash due to sending cards over to my husband for him and his fellow soldiers to send home to loved ones
Popcorn was stamped on Kraft Paper, watercolored using Aqua Painters and soft Suede ink, his feet, ears and the heart on the blanket have a little pink flocking, the note is popped up. Made that fabulous background by cutting out 1" squares and making a quilt, then running it through my CB using nesties. Added some stitching, ribbon (I've been hoarding) and some yummy chocolate pearls (that I've also been hoarding) and there you have it!
Thanks for looking!
Happy Stampin! God Bless!
