This card was made to match wrapping paper on a belated Christmas gift for my step-mom, who was out of town. She loves these colors. The snowflake panel was stamped and then embossed all over using VersaMark ink and SU! iridescent ice embossing powder. It looks so sparkly and pretty IRL. It fits perfectly for a Ways to Use It challenge in December - #301 All that Glitters. It seemed a bit odd to put “warmest wishes” on the card with all the snowflakes; but our gift box is full of things to help her keep warm this winter, as she’s often saying she’s cold. So the sentiment fits the gift if not the snowflakes.
Lastly, this card is a case of my own card from July ‘10, which you can see here: Sparkles and Snowflakes by DCinkit at Splitcoaststampers
Happy New Year! Happy StampinÂ’ in 2011! Warmest wishes to you! TFL
