I made this for the F4A45 resolution challenge. It didn't take me long to come up with this one, I'm a worrier, who comes from a long line of worriers, so I thought a perfect resolution for 2011 would be to give all my worries EVERY day to the One who can handle them best! I used my new set from Heartfelt Creations, which has been reminding me of the hymn 'Because He Lives' by the Gathers:
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone,
Because I know, he holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!
Hope you have inspritation for the New Year too!
I colored the image with copics and then used a stamping up (sizzix) embossing folder to give the cross stitch look. I had purchased light blue half pearls and sheer ribbon this weekend which gave me some inspiration for the color selection. The pink is from Graphic 45 and I bought it because of the Peter Rabbit images on the front, but like usual, I paid over a dollar for it and ended up using the back! LOL! I used a Sizzix embossing folder on Soft Sky SU for the center piece with my new sheer ribbon and added my greeting on Spellbinder dies.

Absolutely gorgeous and the Cross is such a wonderful reminder of who is in charge, the One who gave up everything for us - much appreciated by a fellow worrier here! Beautifully done!!

I could do with that resolution too! We don't sing that hymn in our church, but I've sung it in French in another church where we used to help with the choir.
Happy New Year to you, may it be one in which you cast all your cares on Him.
