When I saw Dawn's challenge this morning I thought yikes - I don't make resolutions, this is going to be tough.
But then I thought a bit, and this is the card I made.
Last October I did my theory test and got a provisional licence for a motorbike. They didn't even have theory tests when I got my driving licence in my late teens - I think I got asked one question from the Rules of the Road! I'm not allowed to learn on DH's new Ducati (he loves it too much) - and I wouldn't want to, anyway. But when he sells his old bike he's going to get something a bit smaller and suitable for him to use around town and me to learn on, and having put the amount of money I have into getting a provisional licence, my aim is to get a full licence.
This card fits a business envelope. I stamped Snoopy on watercolour paper and coloured with H2Os, and a silver pen for all the chrome (for yesterday's WT). I cut it, and then roughed up the back zig-zags with a knife. It's layered onto an old scrap of paper and the foil from a wine bottle embossed with the clockwork ef, also for yesterday's WT. I used the steam from Loads of Love for exhaust, and popped them up on foam.

Good for you! I was supposed to take the Rider's Safety Course through the community college several years ago so I could get my license, but we ended up using the money for plane tickets when my mother was ill (leukemia), and haven't found the funds since... Still on my Bucket List, though! For now I'll have to be satisfied "riding b____"... Cute card, too!

A Ducati??? Please, don't EVER let my DH know about that! He's been hinting around for a while and that Mid-life Crisis is just starting to creep up upon us! (My ex bought a Corvette and that was the funniest day of my life...a 55 year old Danny Devito look alike trying to get out of that car was like watching an old Abbott and Costello movie! LOL)
I LOVE this card, you've put alot of time and thought into your creation, and WOW, it paid off! This is just WONDERFUL! Good luck with getting your full licence! And, hopefully he'll let you drive his Ducati!

I had to look at your profile to see where you live because I had never head of a provisional license. Congrats on that achievement and thanks for the international lesson!!! Love your card with Snoopy!
