My New Years resolution besides losing the last stubborn 12 or 15 pounds, is to REMEMBER SPECIAL EVENTS ON TIME!!! (especially birthdays!) I was giving my long distance daughter and family their birthday gifts with their Christmas gifts - NOT GOOD!! Her BD was in JUNE!! This is so bad!! I'm thinking I MIGHT be more in touch with stuff since our lives with Keith's new job will be so much more "normal". I have MISSED the challenges, but with 17 people in and around your house and here for meals, etc, it was nigh unto impossible to find time!! OR ROOM!! ;) Happy New Year everyone and may all your resolutions come TRUE!!

Well first, may your resolution become reality! What a special one you've made. Now for this gorgeous card! Love two different prints here, the floral and stripe of the ribbon, and how the black cs layer lends to the pop factor!!! Lovely!!!

Soft colors and bold black, then the embossing - beautiful! Good luck on your resolutions, mine are the same. You'd think with all this stamping, meeting the personal commitment of sending cards on time would be easy- NOT! Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us! A very happy new year to you!

Gorgeous card Karen! I love the soft colors and the embossing! I'm right there with you on this resolution. It seems silly that I run around at the last minute trying to make a card for the special people in my life when their birthdays come around! Happy New Year!
