I combined today's two challenges in this bookmark. Jen(MissBoo) gave us the colors of Wild Washbi, Chocolate Chip, Kraft and White for today's CAS. Cher2008 asked us to make a bookmark for today's TLC.
I only put an image at one end of the ribbon so that it could be used for all sizes of books. Because my friends and I exchange and share books, I didn't want anything too thick that would go inbetween the pages and might permanently force them apart.

You had a great image! I was wishing I'd got Flopsey reading when I got him ice-skating so that I would have something appropriate. I am with you on not liking heavily embellishes bookmarks - my books are too precious.

I love, love, love this image, Sallie, and also the lovely soft way which you've colored it. I made my bookmark completly flat too, I'm about as passionate about books and reading as I am about crafting and cardmaking!

What a great idea to leave off the bottom panel.....I'll have to make another one like this for my bigger books!! Love the beautiful image and colors you used, too!!!
