Today's Featured Stamper is absolutely awe-inspiring. Each card in her gallery is a work of art. I simply do not have the artistic ability to even CASE her cards, so I went a different direction. I selected this card that uses Stampin' Up's Noble Deer, a set that I need to use before the end of the year to meet my goal. The first thing that stands out on her card is the amazing color, but as I looked closer there were lots of little details that made this card so gorgeous. So my card removed the color, but kept the details: the strip of trees, the blue contrasting with the browns, the angled panel, the ribbon "tabs", the woodgrain.

I have this set but don't use it often because I don't like the chore of all the coloring. So I like how you stamped sort of a tone-on-tone to simplify things but still keep the image the focal point. Very masculine and very nice.

Awww, your gushing over my card really got to me...THANKS! It's amazing to have talented stampers like those on SCS to case a card of mine. I'm humbled and giddy at the same time. I really love that deer and use it a lot! You did a fantastic job. I like how you removed the color...it does showcase the details. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!!!
