Hi! I made this card for today's color challenge: black, red and white, with hearts for dessert!
Although red is not a color I wear much or use in my home to decorate with, I love this combo, and have a lot of family members that love it, too! It is a combo that works extremely well for valentines, love, anniversary, etc. Consequently, I made another card for today's challenge using it (I suspect I'll give it to my mom as part of a gift pack for her birthday; she can always use an anniversary card)
I used no stamps, just punches for this card. The hardest part was getting the branches on top to stick together in the middle!! I also used part of a 12x12 paper that came embossed with lots of hearts!! The "flowers" below the birds were one of those happy accidents! While cutting branches for the birds, the punch also punched out wings. When I looked down on my desk, some had fallen on top of each other, sort of like a stylized tulip. I decided to go with it and created the flowers in my scene!! The branches overhead are giving the birds some privacy!!
TFL and have a colorful day!!
