Good morning!!! In the midst of the Christmas frenzy, I took a little time out to create a card for New Year's! Today, on the Passionately Artistic blog,
we are sharing New Year's projects with you before we take a little time off for Christmas and New Year's Day! If you have a moment, go check out what some of the other team members created! I used the clock from the StampinUp! set called Sense of Time. I stamped it twice, once masking off the clock hands and then cut out the hands and the second hand piece from the other stamped image. I used three layers of versamark and clear embossing powder on the clock and diamond glaze on the hands. The second hand piece is popped up with foam tape and the hands are attached with a brad. The image is stamped onto designer paper. I used K & Co designer paper for the clock and the background. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Clockworks folder. I did the direct to paper technique on the embossed areas and then sprayed them with several shades of Glimmer Mist. The base card is SU! Creamy Caramel. I added more brads, ribbon and pearls to complete the card! For my design, I used the sketch on the Midnight Madness Blog!!!
