Today is my husband's birthday and like the good wife I am, I waited until the last minute to make his birthday card!! LOL! Sorry, Chris! ;)
I used Flourishes "A Guiding Light" and "Antique Map" to make my card. I used Memento "Desert Sand" & "Rich Cocoa", then colored the ship in with my Tombows. I used my Crop-O-Dial and some silver brads, both of which I hadn't touched in oh say, 3 years!
The CS is a metallic Marine Blue, paired with some Neenah "Solar White" that I embossed two borders on, and lightly antiqued with some "Antique Linen" Distress ink. The long rectangle panel was cut out with a Spellbinders "Long Rectangle" and the cut out was cut out with a "Classic Square" Spellbinder die.
I am excited to give it to my husband and see his reaction, since I just got done with our Christmas cards a night ago. He knows that was hard to do with everything going on, and I had told him I was done with cards for a bit ;)
