Shoes were alwaysÂ…. my fav,
until a hat I was gave,
from a man named Dave,
who was strong and brave.
Bravery was not DaveÂ’s only attribute,
But awesomely handsome and very cute,
Whether wearing jeans or a blue suit,
I might add he had lots of loot to boot.
He owned a dairy,
In the middle of a prairie,
Where the voices of 42,000 cows would carry,
Go ahead Dave, ask her to marry.
He promised me a house,
And in the sweetest voice did announce,
His proclamation of love was so pronounced,
A girl could never renounce.
So in his armÂ’s I lay,
Wondering in my dreams today,
If heÂ’ll still love me when I say,
IÂ’ll marry you only if I may,
Bring my computer and stamps to play.
ItÂ’s then my love, IÂ’ll boast and rave,
IÂ’ll promise to love you, but no money to save!
And so itÂ’s in this, I must behave,
If I want to keep my man named Dave,
Who in the beginning a hat he gave.
Girls, a poet I'm not, so you can blame da mudder for this one!

Well done! A very cute poem and you lead right out with "Shoes were always...". I got a little trigger happy and uploaded before I included that. Love your Christmas shopper.

You are a poet! How do you know my (college age) granddaughter - she wants to marry a rich rancher with lots of cows LOL!!! What a perfect shopper image, too.

Love the layout with shade of Santa's suit and belt. What a cute shopping image with great coloring (and fun "fur"). And your poem rocked - including the singing cows! Shhhhhh don't tell Curt the squirt, he'll recruit them to be his own bovine version of Glee for a fee.
