As I was tossing and turning trying to fall asleep last night I had a Eureka moment over a challenge I read to use the Northern Flurries Embossing folder in a new way. So for today's Ways to Use it Challenge that's my new technique...using a tool in a new way. I got this image of an embossed wedding cake and this is how it all ended up. The old techniques are many, WT05 Embossing (both ef and ep were used) WT214 Framed for the framing around the cake panel , WT58 Flower Power WT81 Color Your World I used the new Color Coach and also WT49 Reinkers were used to color the tissue paper flowers.
I punched the layers of the cake with the XL, Medium and Small circles then ran them through in the Northern Flurry ef one at a time on the large snowflake. I then cut off 2 sides of the circles to form each tier of the cake. I cut little pieces of Whisper White to form the columns.
